You are probably ok, but go to your doctor for peace of mind.

I had a "missed miscarriage," in which the baby died days before my body actually miscarried it. At first, I lost all symptoms of my pregnancy - sore breasts, frequent bathroom trips, etc. I was a little concerned, but since it was my first pregnancy, I thought I was just misreading the symptoms.

Three days later, I had horrible cramps (which I learned were contractions) and quickly had to go to the bathroom. When I wiped, I noticed a little bit of blood. As the day progressed, the bleeding got heavier and heavier. I called the doctor's office, but the on-call nurse said there was nothing that could be done but to "wait it out." Finally, around 2:00am the next morning, I went to the bathroom and passed the gestational sac. I was told to go to the ER, in case a D&C was needed.

Call your ob...during the first trimester your baby is tiny and this is the most well- cushioned that he or she is going to be. I actually got into a major car accident when I was nine weeks pregnant and although my body was sore, my baby was perfect.
When you have a miscarriage and it's early on, you will feel crampy like you have your period, abdominal pain, and will experience bleeding. Since your belly hurts you do need to have yourself checked out, but keep in mind the vast majority of miscarriages end because there is something wrong with the chromosomes, not through anything like a fall or something on the outside. Best of luck to you.

Please go to the doctor. He will be able to tell you if it is a miscarriage. I have had 8 miscarriages and it is a painful feeling in your abdomen acompanied by bleeding. Even if you are not bleeding see a doctor it may have hurt you to fall like that. You need to make sure your baby is ok.

In the first trimester a fall is unlikely to harm the baby, but go in for an ultrasound just in case. Did you ever tell your parents? How'd that go?
