The thing I regret most is spending most of my life full of negativity, this past year has been one of the best in my life since becoming more positive, my self confidence has increased and also my health, now I don't worry. I feel great.

Throughout my life there have been times when I have felt Like I have made mistakes or wished I had not said or done something. However, I am very happy with my life. I have a wonderful marriage, 2 beautiful little boys, a solid group of friends and a job I enjoy. I have a good relationship with my family and I am not struggling financially. So I ask, how can I regret anything I have done or said if it has all brought me to this point in my life. If you are happy with yourself I say regret nothing because it is what made you, you.

I would regret not saying "F*** it!" and running away from my life and off on a grand adventure of trying to travel the world and survive on very little more than the good will of other people to help each other out in life - sort of a sociological research trial... I would want to take my camera and film (because yes I still use a film camera).. and I would want to meet as many people, see as many places and understand as much as I could about the intricasies of different cultures and religions along the way.

But, I'm still young. Hopefully there will be plenty of time left to do this in.

i have no regrets. even though i am 25, my life up to this point has been some journey. a lot of bad things happened to me when i was a kid, as well as a couple of unhappy and negative experiences. likewise, hurting and injuring myself when i was 3 or 4 i cannot remember; thus, i have a terrible scar on my abdomen and thus this left me physically scarred for life. yes i'd endured some bad times in my life but i'd say it has prepared me to realise to become a better human being for it. in a way therefore, i am glad i suffered- physically, mentally and emotionally. i don't regret the bad stuff that happened to me. that's not to say i wanted it to happen but i don't regret anything that i did or have regrets about doing something which i didn't do. i had a rough time as a result of those problems, such as being bullied at school for example, but even though it was bad and painful, it was still worth it because it made me re-evaluate my life as well as mentally stronger. some would say i had a lucky escape and hence, not take things for granted, as well as to realise that i shouldn't be complacent about anything whatsoever

I refuse to regret at all. The way my life is going, has gone.....it makes me what I am and that is nothing to be regretful about. My path was what is was, for a reason that none of us will ever understand. It's the mystery of life. No regrets.

I have to say, it won't be what I did but what I didn't do that will be the regret, which is why I do what I do even if I have fear getting to me.

A lot of people as I read years ago, said, "people will regret not the things they have done but the things they avoided to do because of fear what their friends, relatives, or society says. From the age of 13-20 people think about who is thinking and talking about them. When they reach 40, they find, no one thinks or talks about them, and wish, they just lived like a dare devil."

I guess you want to live the kind of life that, at the end, you don't feel the need to ask that question - you've got more important things on your mind.

Somewhat related, I've heard it said that in nursing homes almost nobody talks about their past careers, how much money they earned or how many promotions they received. Most people talk about their kids and grandkids.

I only regret not being able to live longer so I can see my children do everything I have done in my lifetime.

Having probably too many principals and falling out with people arguing over them - life is toooo short but forgiving is harder! Should be able to see people for what they are, not worry about them at all
