If the matter was decided by a judge or jury, the verdict or judgment will be public record and located in the court's file. If the matter was settled, the it was most likely confidential. If the matter was covered by the media, there might be a news report. Some attorneys like to publicize their cases and will issue news releases. Finally, you can try asking one of the parties to the lawsuit or their attorney.

If the award was via a court or jury verdict, it will be in the court file. If via a settlement it may or may not be. Go to the courthouse & ask for the file by name or case number.

I'm thinking you can if it goes all the way through court (at least in my state), but if they settle outside of court you can't. Depends on if your state has open records or not.

if you have the details of the case, you can go to the courthouse and pay for a copy of the findings, as it should be public record.
