Many times, in fact, there's a name for it, it's called doublethink and it is when you persuade yourself of something that you know is not true to become true and overtime, you believe it, i am capable of doing that

You know whats funny? The biggest and most common lie I noticed people tell themselves. By setting the alarm clock 10 mins ahead or even 25 mins ahead. Who's kidding who here?

I think that would fall under the denial/regret part of my life...

...I can't really think of anything except for the time I told myself that my ex bf wasnt cheating on me with my best friend...

Lies do NOT ever help...lol

Several times, I always lie to myself because i dont want to face the truth about something, so i just said to myself some lie that probably is not going to come true, but i want it to come true.

yea.. then i ended up hurting myself emotionally because i don't like liars.. and when i foung out that i lied to myself, i couldn't forgiive myself. but i finally did because thats what good people do. forgive yourself :)

I'm not exactly lying, but there are times that I'm trying to ignore the truth...which I eventually face anyway!
