When you say field, do you mean like a farmers field, or are you referring to a business field. I would have thought you mean a farmers field, how long will your battery last and are you using a bluetooth phone as a modem? I think that may be a little expensive.
When you say stalked, do you mean by someone or are the stalks of whatever's growing in the field sticking in your bottom? I imagine you're used to having things stuck in your bottom.
Merry Christmas.

In other words you yourself admit that it is only a *feeling*.... you are not sure if that is true and so you ask us.
What you can do about the feeling is to let is pass by ... you had been in the field for nearly 1 week now and trust me there is no one but you in that field out there ...
Trust me !

If you are hiding in a field, then what are you hiding behind/in? Because I think that hiding in plain sight is not going to work, unless your are dressed incognito.
Alternatively if you are in a field, what type of field is it? And does it have bushes? Because I have a feeling that my kangaroo may be hiding in one of them!

Ask a friend to drive you home or walk home with a group of friends or at least another person!
You could contact the police as well!
Remember this phrase 4 the rest of your life:
Always travel in pairs, but preferably in trios.

You are being stalked. It's me. I'm just about to jump over that small hedge behind you and bite you on the ankle very hard.
Get the f*ck out of my owner's field, you weird, seal-like creature!
