Those women who don't want a man but a woman by their side, protected by legality and with the benefits of a marriage, can not have it just because that is "not morally correct", or so do Reps say.
Same of course with men.

I mean, get in the skin of those who are insulted by the Republicans by saying things like "same-sex marriages are inmoral".
And please don't go with the old thing of "If we legalize same-sex marriages, why don't we legalize pedophilia/zoophilia?" Unlike those last two, same-sex relationships consist of two parts who CAN and ARE ALLOWED to give mature consent to any other thing (driving, having babies, weapons, and stuff)... only that they both have the same sex... then what is the crime?

Because the current Republican platform is hypocritical. Now, answer this: Why do Democrats want me to make enough money that they can tax me heavily for social programs, but if I work hard enough to become "rich", they want to demonize my greed, and take as much of it away from me as they can?

Both big political parties have hypocritical platforms. It's because they're both trying to make over 150 million people like them just enough to vote for them, rather than actually do what they believe is truly best for the country.

Two-thirds of the Democrats in Congress voted for the Defense of Marriage Act in 1996 and Pres. Clinton signed it into law with the First Lady also endorsing it.

So who do you mean when you say "Republicans" ?

The same reason democrats think adults are to incompetent to own a gun but a minor can abort fetuses without regulation. It is all smoke mirrors for the ultimate unconscious organizational objective of government.... totalitarianism.....republican or democrat, socialist or democratic they can only ensure their survival through complete control.

The government of the USA doesn't tell me who I can marry. I get to pick the man I want to marry. I can even live with him without the benefit of marriage if I so desire.

What republican told you WHO to marry?
As far as I know, they are just upholding the law of marraige between a man and woman. No one is forcing you to marry anyone. Why should we make new laws for people that want to go outside the law?

Just because you are born a certain way (sexual attraction to the same sex) doesn't mean you act on it. Just like pedophiles. They are sexually attracted to children. They are born that way. So shouldn't we accomodate them if we accomodate gays?

If we change the law according to your preferance, why not pedophiles too?

Answer me that.

Next it will be okay to bang a sheep because no one should tell them they can't.

SOMEBODY HAS TO MAINTAIN AN ORDER IN THIS COUNTRY.
