Part of China, the Philippines, Malaysia, Burma (now Myanmar), New Guinea, the Marshall Islands, Indochina (Vietnam), two of the Aleutian islands (part of Alaska). . . .

They basically had most of the western Pacific, down to, but not including Australia and New Zealand.

Major invasions included Thailand, Java, Tugali, New Guinea, Korea (annexed) and China... possibly others, as there were conflicts in many places in the pacific in WWII that could be considered as Japanese invasions, since we were fighting various troops which could've included Japanese troops in those conflicts.
