How long does it take for a person to realize they made a mistake by moving in with someone too quickly? Does living together bring out the fact that you are incompatible faster than living separately? What if the relationship was on the rebound? Will living together highlight this fact?

Sometimes ,the mistake is realized as soon as you cross the doorway!LIving with someone whether it be your relative, your friend , or your lover certainly brings out the best and the worst in people. that is why you should truly know someone before you take any giant step!!

That's a complicated question. Yes, you do learn pretty quick what annoys you about the other person that never did before, but it's all about compromise and acceptance. People are people. We are all different, and anybody can learn to live with each other if each person is willing to give and take. No 2 people are the perfect match when they meet, as far as living together. It is through the evolution and growth of the relationship that makes you compatible. Communication is key. You have to talk to each other about what is bothering you. It won't fix itself. If the other person doesn't know there's a problem, how can they try to fix it with you?
If the relationship was on the rebound, then living together should have never happened in the first place. Only you can say whether or not it's a rebound relationship, but just because it started right after a breakup doesn't make it an automatic rebound. Most rebound relationships don't last very long though.

They already realized they made a Huge Mistake in Electing Bush twice. The Republicans Realized their Mistake in picking Bush over McCain in 2000. Had the Republicans not broken their 1994 Contract with America(This is what ushured them in Control of Congress)in in 2006, and had Bush not spent the surplus like a drunken Sailor, then we would have our First Female Vice President of the United States.

It doesn't take long to realize that you aren't compatible with someone. And yes living together definitely highlights that because you get to see all the annoying things the other person does up close and personal. I guess you just have to overlook somethings if you want to make things work out.

That sucks... You should pack your things and get out before you are too invested and hurt someone for being on the rebound. You know as soon as you do it and sit down and think about it. Good Luck and try no too make the same mistake twice!!

some people don't realize untill it's too late, the relationship was not on the rebound because you didn't even give it a chance or try ,thats obvious that you moved in so quickly with someone else

Maybe you are looking for failure already?

Give any change time. Living with someone is a big change and seeing someone part time to seeing someone all the time is very different. Now you need to work on your communication skills. If there is someone bothering you, leaving the toilet seat up, drinking the last of the milk, not doing laundry etc talk to him about it. Don't let is pester because it will never work. Communication is critical don't assume he is paying attention to your little winks and nudges. tell him what is on your mind.

living with another person is difficult for anyone you have to get adjusted to their ways and habits and they are not always good, and there is a lot of giving and taking everyday if something is really bothering you now that you have moved in then you should at least talk to the other before making any rash decision as moving out.

Even though it's considered immorral, I am ALL for living together (if kids aren't involved) before making a marital commitment. Yes, living together shows a lot of things that sometimes aren't seen before hand. Been there.

An unapologetic comment my ex made was enough. Not that I am too sensitive but the things that are in the heart come out of the mouth.
