I always see people in awe, when they see someone dunk a basketball. With a ten foot rim of course.

Can you dunk at 10ft.????? and its not just a dunk, its the dunk that they do!!! specially if they do a badazz move and dunk, or also when they dunk it over somebody else, its great!!

their not all standing under the rim when they do it. Jordan could dunk from the free throw line sometimes even further. it's the air time that people are at awe about not the dunk it's self. but also the dunk is also a intimidation factor as well it shows the defender that you can't Handel me.

it is not all the time. it depends on how he dunked the ball or how tall is the guy dunking. it is amazing if the guy is 5'7" dunking a simple dunk. and for the 6'6" and up guys, their dunks must have creativity for him to get the awes..

Even if you could dunk, it's amazing to be able to concentrate on the game and not stand there congratulating yourself for ten minutes.

Can you dunk? Dunking itself isn't horribly amazing... but the acrobatic moves athletes perform continue to impress american population.

Not everybody has the ability to do that, just like if you had the ability to hit 500 foot homeruns people would be in awe just the same.

Because it's considered a power move . its like scoring a touchdown not everyone is able to do it.
