50:50. Nuke pact between India and US was expected much earlier. Without the pact, the US would have no control if India produced nuclear weapons to use against Pakistan, the close ally of US. In the guise of supplying technical know-how, the US can mislead India. If the pact is sencerely implemented, both the countries would reap the benefits of nuclear technicalogy in the fields of agriculture, health, space science etc. Let's hope for the best.

Looks like we all go shopping to America for our nuc. supply these days. I don't like it.. its makes me uncomfortable that India is having relations with the USA and especially about nuclear energy... but I guess India was kinda pressured with Pakistan right next door .. it had to do something in it's defense I guess. But these kind of things always build more tension .. America the big boy, should stop supplying little boys with dangerous toys.

India is surrounded by two un friendly nuclear powers.To survive their black mail India should have at least enough Nukes to retaliate at both fronts if it have to.
