No, I have never paid any attention to the weather when it comes to my animals, unless it regards a show, trail ride, or something similar. There was a time last year when 4 horses at my barn, and the barn dog all needed surgery within the same week - each within a few days of a full moon. All survived, all are healthy and happy today, enjoying their normal activities, etc. The only reason I remember this is the full moon was the night before a big horse show, and none of those horses could go to the show because of their surgeries. (And no one was hurt or anything at the show either! lol)

hmm.. i remember this from 7th grade, i think. (4 years ago =) )
ok, there is new moon - black, moon is hidden.
waxing crescent - thin slice, but getting bigger day by day
first quarter - half moon illuminated
waxing gibbous - bigger than half moon, still getting bigger day by day
full moon - you know what a full moon is.
then getting smaller, if you need it:
waning gibbous - bigger than half moon, but getting smaller day by day
third quarter - other half of moon lighted
waning crescent - only a slice lighted, getting smaller every day
back to new moon.
and it goes in a cycle.
I know it's been four years, but I hope I got all this right! good luck!
