Hmmm...1991, eh?
Guys wore Levi's 501s w/ holes in the knees(and on rare occasions the rear pockets!) w/ cheap boxers/boxer briefs showing, while the gals wore something like what Angelina Jolie wore in both "Lara Croft:Tomb Raider" movies, or trying to revive the "Daisy Dukes" that Catherine Bach made famous in "The Dukes of Hazzard"...or...
HTH...
"Blossom"...YECCH!...just the name sucks;I can STILL picture Mayim Bialik wearing that darn flower hat, or Joey Lawrence's ultra-tight Levi's 501s w/ Calvin Klein socks and gangsta-type shirt...
Thanks for the reminder...and yet I was STILL wearing "Miami Vice"-type clothing...

There were the most horrid of multi-colored 'disco' shirts that guys wore, w/ tapered slacks, gals wore crazy hats (both genders wore crazy hats!); I never ever wore that stupid-looking "Blossom" crap with the flower pasted in the middle of your forehead! I could go on and on, but bright colors were the thing, and hip-huggers/bell bottoms made a comeback...clogs, big earrings of the wire/plastic variety...patent leather shoes with wide, voile material for laces...guys wore them, too. I would wear velour hot pants with a matching bodysuit and patent belt w/ black tights and cute platform shoes, just think Deelite....'90's club chick look.
Was I a fashion victim???

Your best bet would be to watch old television shows from that era and judge off of that. Look at Saved by the Bell, for example. Acid jeans, LA Gear shoes/shirts, etc. :(

I remember lots of colors, cross colors clothing, overalls were huge(one strap hanging unfortunately), leather jackets...long ones were popular, baggy clothes were in for women.
