i have a 2 meg connection and download at 240kbps.
wot connection do you have and wots your download speed?

Just a FYI, you can take your normal download speed and multiply it by 8 to see your full connection speed.

EX.
240*8=1920

I usually run at 345 kbps, or around 2760.

3000/768k dsl line.

At work:

7265kbps down
743kbps up

At home
between 8000 and 10000 down
323~348 up

Both are cable (Work: RCN, home: Comcast)

At both places, we're right next to the tap, so at both we get the fastest speeds possible. At home, the tap is in my backyard.

Mine ranges between 4 and 6 meg, with BT broadband...have a go on this test its pretty good http://www.speedtest.bbmax.co.uk/

8 meg connection...normally 400 - 500kbps.

8mbps with AOL/TalkTalk Speed about 780kbps max (I am using wireless, 76.8kbps on 11mbps wireless)
