for some people, that's just part of their nature. some people are very laid back and others are extremely high strung. like for me, i mostly am laid back. i can reason when things are beyond my control and not worry about them.
if you can try to not hold on too tight to control or lack of control, you might be able to alleviate some of those nerves. stress isn't good for anyone.

You're insecure with yourself, and your feeling about how you go about accomplishing tasks. The best way to get around this is to go to a mirror and just watch yourself, look at your expressions, look at every part of your face in great detail. Get to know yourself so to speak. Once you do that, you've conqured your worst fear, fear of people criticizing everything you do.
The best thing to do is take charge of your actions, be self sufficient, and start getting used to walking over everyone else before they walk all over you. Brief and snappy comebacks usually halt people from criticism because you haven't given them the time to say something first. It takes practice but when you finally master it you won't be nervous about doing anything really. Also you are probably pretty shy around people as well, right? Then you must do the mirror talk, it will help you with your nervous problem.

Oh, don't worry.. this is usual with most of us too. Just keep telling urself firmly that u C-A-N do it and u M-U-S-T do it. Be confident that whatever you do, u do with ur heart and abilities put into it. And even if u don't get the results u expected, know that trying is all that matters. Success depends on ur quality and percentage of hardwork not on how much nervous u get or talents..... Gud luck.. :-)

i'm the same way..i get so nervous over pretty much nothing! i just try to take some deep breaths and calm down. sucks though..
