Based on the media promotion of Taylor since he won (or lack thereof), it would be surprising for him to do much better than Ruben did in the earlier seasons. Was he well liked during the over hyped American Idol season? Yes. Does anyone remember anything about him? Not according to the job his publicist has been doing since the show ended. I've seen more of Kathryn (sp?) McPhee than Taylor Hicks since then.

i really never watch the show. I did see some of taylors performance and he had such a way with the crowd. he was an entertainer because he gave it his all. i loved chris and thought that he could sing better than him. i also have met, hung out, and heard him sing live. so i know first hand how great that he is. (not to mention the pics to prove it.) taylor gave what the crowd needed a good song and dance.

Totally loved Taylor Hicks!! He just had his own style going for him and I couldn't get enough of him. He is cute in his own way too!!

I didn't like him at first, but by the time he actually won, I was a fan. He's got great range in his voice and once he learns a little more showmanship, I think he will become a great singer.

He was pretty good. Reason, was he was different, not the average person you see on there and he put effort into his work, not just floating by on something.

I liked him. I felt he was full of energy, fun, and had a nice sound to his voice. I don't think he should have won AI though... Chris was definitely cheated of the win.
