Newborns need all of the love and attention they can get. Why of course that is there mother.

good answer natasha but thats not always the case. no parent knows what they are doing right away. but i would say newborns need a home,clothes,tons of milk, a loving parent, and lots of check ups. :)

Clothing, Food, a safe crib to sleep in, a few bottles for milk, lots of love from both parents and tons of diapers!

Food (breastmilk is free), love(free), attention(free), clothing(often free), shelter(the same price as before the baby), lots of blankets(often free), diapers, someplace to sleep(which can be your bed, if you make some adjustments)
