hi. I'll be visitng my guy friend with romantic potential in Copenhagen soon. I'd like to "kidnap" him for a fun and somewhat romantic evening- restaurant, bar, walk around, etc... I have all the tour books, but would like some ideas from people that have been there. Thanks!

Tivoli. It sounds like its only for kids, but trust me, it's not.

You may want to go to Tivoli. That's a great opportunity for people watching and fun. Plus during christmas they have light shows at 5, 6, 7, and 8 p.m. Hope you have fun!

p.s. for the guy 2 below me, Tivoli is NOT closed in December. It's only closed on Christmas Day. It's open until from like the 16th to the 30th for christmas holiday celebrations.

There isn't anything in Tivoli this time of year, it is closed but there is a X-mas market there they just want your money. Ask a Dane where to go, they usually know better were to find a nice place, but perhaps they do not tell you. There are a lot of good places to go, just walk around and you find them.
