This has been left over from some other programme and I can't get rid of it!! I've tried changing the association but my PC refuses to delete it as it says there is no size to it. "Cannot read from the source file or disk" HELP!!

rename the file and try removing it . I hope It will work.....

Check the file out in the control panel>add or remove programs. Remove it from there.

As long as you are sure that it is a shortcut icon, right click on it and delete. If you are not sure, and to be 100% safe, drag it to one of your files and leave it there..........it may well be needed by some other programme..............

Just right click on it and select "delete" from the drop-down menu that appears.
