If you ask them to check for other stds, then they'll do those tests while they are taking a pap smear, but the pap smear only looks for cancer (and hpv which causes it). Testing for chlamydia can be done during a smear test and they can look for warts etc.

No, you need to have blood tests & a seperate test (similar to a pap) for Chylmydia. These tests should be repeated in 6 months.

when i go for a pap...my doctor checks for chlyamdia and gonoerrhea, but paps are also to check for any type of cancer..the other std test are done with blood

pap tests only for cancer. the other problems are usually tested for at the same time, if the patient informs the doc theay are at risk.

i think that it just tests for vaginal warts, hpv, and chlamidyia.
