Never tell him and take it to the grave with you. If you love him you will not hurt him. In reality you need to question if you really love this man because if you love someone - even thinking of being with another is repulsive. You may just be fooling yourself. It is your life - take charge and don't cheat yourself guilting yourself to stay with a guy just because you cheated on him. it is not fair to you or him. But it is so so sosoososososo not fair to hurt him and tell him what you did!!!!!
That is just evil. It is bad enough you cheat on someone - it is worse sitting there and telling him and watching his heart melt just so you won't feel guilty anymore! I know because I have seen a heart melt - and to tell the truth you will feel more guilty after you tell the person knowing all it did was hurt them and that you told them out of your selfishness.

Telling him only relieves you of the guilt but hurts him.
You get to live knowing you where honest and can even absolve yourself of blame after a time because you came clean. He will live with the hurt you caused him for ever. Don't ask don't tell.
