Yes, they have some really good shows that go unnoticed. If you like those channels, watch The Travel Channel, they have some great programs as well.

I love to learn new things and it's a great way to watch tv with my kids and they absorb stuff without even knowing it. Anyone going to send these comments to the History Channel and the Discovery Channel? If not we need to let them know how much we appreciate their programming.

Mythbusters and Dirty Jobs rock! But if you like geeky, informative TV, try Good Eats with Alton Brown on the Food channel. It's kind of like "Bill Nye the Science Guy" in the kitchen.

Yes, my husband loves mail call and teh one about old western technology(about guns) on History and we both love Myth Busters, Dirty Jobs, and Shark week on Discovery. When there's nothing on, you can usually find something on one of these.
