Does anyone else hate the stupid American Eagle Aerie segment at the end of the show. I think it sucks. It is the most annoying thing--and I have to sit through it to get the scenes from "next week"
Additionally, has the new writer lost his mind? This season sucks. I keep watching, because I've watched for 6 seasons and i want to see how things end, but frankly, the show annoys me lately.
Anyone else?

I totally agree with you. Those aerie girls are so annoying, and I just ignore what they have to say... I hope they get off the TV! Season six is a let down for me too..

I completely agree, the Aerie segment is.... annoying doesn't quite do it........it's dumb.
Why do they think that viewers want to know the opinion of college co-eds sitting around in their dorm. It's like eavesdropping on Susie Cheerleader and her best friends.
I also agree that the quality of the scripts have degraded. The change in producers/writers. The fast paced banter is gone - and you don't see enough of Suki, Michaell, or Lane. While Christopher and Lorelai getting married was interesting - it was just a cheap example of Lorelai's continual impulsive behavior. Even if this is the last season, I doubt the marriage will last even that long.

As a guy , I probably shouldn't admit I watch the show but I do.
This season has gone way out there. There is no way that Lor would ever marry Chris, there is too much history and just because he has money is not a reason, in fact he is everything she is against.
the Luke daughter story line is stupid and the way he treated Lor over it, didn't make sense
I think that's what happens when you have a woman writing about women and a man comes in to take over. Sorry to say but there are some things that men just don't know, and what goes on in a woman's mind is one of them.

Yes, I hate commercial endorsements! The Aerie thing is annoying. I like the new season because you don't know what is going to happen with Lorelai....will she stay married to Christopher or run off to be with Luke? I'm kinda bored of Rory's relationship though. Time for a new love interest!

I agree with the annoyingness of the Aerie stuff, those chicks drive me crazy!
However, I'm liking the new season so far! The only thing I can't really stand is Luke's daughter, is that kid annoying or what? And her mother is a pain too! She's all for April staying with Luke when it suits her but when the tables are turned its all about "her daughter". I kinda like Loralai with Christopher, it was about time she told Luke to make up his mind, I was SICK of him being all wishy-washy!!

I haven't watched since Luke & Lorelai screwed everything up. We all know they're supposed to end up together. I HATE it when shows do this.
