Where is his family from, what country? Of course this has to do with his name being a bit inordinate...so please don't send me the liberal answer as to my question having a race bias. I'm concerned since he just came in out of nowhere as I'm sure many others as well are curious as heck!!

His father an evangelical? Try looking up 'Obama & mau mau' and figure that out. Who is saying to overlook religion(cause to some) better take good look at the radical strong-arm Sharia Law. Also do some research and find out how much he's attended church b4 election time.

This is a strange phenomenon. It is as if Hillary (or Laura) ran for some open office a few months after each became First Lady. Why are the Dems so premature?

His mother is White and American; his father is Black from Africa, Kenya, I think, but I'm not sure. His father left when he was young. I believe he is an Evangelical of some sort. He's married and has two children, boys, I think. I'm sure you can look him up on Wikipedia and get clearer answers. I saw this on Oprah a while back.

You can always google him... but I 'll tell you what I know..
First off sweetie, for him to be a US senator, he probably is an american citizen (his nationality) ....
If you're talking about his ethnicity, I believe his mother is American caucasian and his father was African (from Kenya I believe so) which might explain his unusual name.
He's in his first Senate term and for some reason has reached rock star status maybe by being extremely charismatic and the press loving him.. might be all smokes and mirrors but it's too early to tell.
Satisfied?
