Iam a music collector for many years. It still surprises me, everywhere I have traded, I´d encountered many music collectors who love DP as their fave boot band. At the same time they also love ZEP too. Are these two bands having a little bit similarity ?

who is DP? Deep Purple for instance???? if so i love Ritchie Blackmore. If it is Deep Purple then yes Zep and DP have a little similarity. DP is a blues/rock based band kind of like the Zep. Zep had more hard rock influences though as you can tell in Jimmy Page's guitar playing. He to me is brilliant. I love the way he got his tone by using a violin bow sometimes. That makes a beautiful sound on an electric guitar. You would love Deep Purple i think

What exactly is the question here??

What is wrong/confusing about liking 2 amazing bands at the same time??

Both were groundbreakers & trend-setters, and paved the way for a lot of todays music.

i like "no one's Fault yet Mine". I even have the unique Blind Willie Johnson song, too and it somewhat is thrilling to evaluate the two. it somewhat is resembling the version between Cream's "Crossroads" and Robert Johnson's unique. The lyrics and trouble-free shape are a similar, however the temper is amazingly diverse. yet another Zep song that i like plenty is "Ten Years long gone" from actual Graffiti. It has a tragic, wistful high quality that maximum of their different cloth would not. Zeppelin replaced into continually approximately being on the suitable of your sport, waiting to triumph over, yet "Ten Years long gone" is approximately looking lower back and seeing the wreckage which you disregarded the 1st time with the aid of. style of like purple Floyd's "desire You have been right here" or "Time"( Floyd explored this topic plenty!).
