But feel it necesary to vote in the other guys. Other questions relate to paedos and murderers being allowed to reoffend. This is becuase of their human rights, a little law passed to us by the E.U. Along with hundreds of laws that our government must follow without question...

As long as we remain members of the E.U

Because most elected representatives are corrupt, dishonest and downright ignorant people .
The get elected to office with no knowledge or training in running a Country.
They rob and swindle the tax payers out of millions that should be used to improve peoples lives.
When they get caught they can walk away with a big fat pension.
If a poor person steals food to feed their children they get sent to prison.
But Bertie Ahearn can spend thousands on makeup.
He increased the cigs in the budget and the only people it hurts is the poor.
We all know cigs are bad for you but its a drug and very hard to give up. Why not put the taxes taken from cigarettes into helping people to give up.
You have to pay the doctor, pay for patches etc etc while the fat pigs get rich one other peoples misery.
I would hate to be an old aged pensioner in this country.
Just look at the young people today trying to buy a home, both parents have to work for 30 years just to have a home, its a disgrace
We dont need these type of governments let the civil servants do the work
I could go on and on and on but whats the use they will never change.
Complaining does not work.
Its time for the people to rise up and tell them we dont need billion euro stadiums, highways etc while there are people in need of essential basic everyday things .
Will any of them at Christmas think of the poor, lonely, suicidal and homeless. NO NO NO

There are two types of people that complain. The first person is the person who didn't vote, in which he doesn't even have the right to complain in my opinion. Then there's the second person who actually votes, this person is probably complaining about the outcome of the vote because of the first person not voting and complaining about the same issue as the second person who had voted. I think that's the issue.

There is absolutely nothing that you can praise this self seeking Government for .Taxes keep being increased but where is all this extra money going to .With cut-backs in services for the majority of public services,it is obviously being wasted somewhere.A few suggestions.
Private-finance initiatives,to many civil servants, uncontrolled immigration I.T.Systems that do not work properly and the ridiculous salaries and expenses that our M.P.s
claim every year .
THATS WHY.

Per the American system it is not so much politics as it is political football. It is not the person it is the team. That way if your party is in power you can try to humiliate members of the other party which is not of course what Government is to be about.

At least in this country (UK) you can complain about the government. That's democracy. It would be nice, for a change, if the government actually listened to the majority. See - I'm complaining now!

Asking that; is like asking comedians why they sit and observe life and watch people making asses of themselves in their natural habitat...to use later on in their acts...

There is JUST SO MUCH MATERIAL OUT THERE not to make good use of it.

If enough people let them know that we actually KNOW what they are up to... maybe they will stop!

I for one am not really that big on voting people into office just because the competition was lame.

Has everyone has enough Bush yet? Thanks for voting him in KNOWING what would happen!

Because of the way democracy works, most of the population didn't vote for the guys in power.
