Here's a guy who's prettier, more articulate, less abrasive, not at all self-righteous, and doesn't behave as though he's returning to his rightful place on the throne.

And for you fans of Hillary out there: try to remember that the thrill this guy evokes in the swing-voting electorate is that he reminds them of a time before folks like Hillary came to dominate the political scene.

You know the crowd from both parties that I mean, right? The ones whose basic message is "We're right and we're always right; you're wrong and you're always wrong - end of story, Jack!"

How's Clinton gonna compete with THAT?!?

Easy, exactly how the Dem's handle everything... start digging up dirt and who knows, some things maybe "leaked" out.. Doesn't matter if its true , he'll by tied down trying to disprove the allegations and lose momentum.. Typical democratic strategy.

Simple....Hillary is the more popular candidate, has more money to campaign, and will draw in more women voters.

You're still under the illusion that politics have anything to do with "best person for the job" or "smartest, most articulate person for the job". A little common sense, and a look at the current president will show you that this is not the case at all. American politics are little more than a popularity contest, and Hillary is the more popular candidate, wether you want to believe it or not. Their appearances on Leno and Letterman have FAR more to do with their success in an election or primary than any debate or issue. Sad...but true.

In short, you ask "How's Clinton gonna compete with that?" Very simple...her last name is "Clinton", and that is more than enough in our society.

Ask anyone who tried to cross the Clinton's. Somehow somewhere, some kind of skeleton in his closet will be released during the campaign that will make him look bad. The Clinton's still have all the money. Who knows , there may be some sweetheart deal made to have Hillary run for President and have Obama be the VP candidate.

Barack is trading on the fact that people don't really know who he is or what he stands for. Not to suggest that there's anything wrong with the guy, but currently people can project their fantasies that he represents whatever they value or agree with. Once he starts going under the same scrutiny as other candidates in the actual race, some voters may discover facts that make them not so enamored - for example, that Obama opposes gay marriage.

In other words, all Hillary has to do is wait for the novelty to wear off.

The economic equipment will be fairly undesirable by using November so human beings gained't care about McCain's overseas coverage journey, all they are going to care about his economic guidelines and all he has presented is a continuation of the Bush tax cuts so a democrat will win. this is going to likely be Obama till the present church issues weaken him adequate in the coming near near primaries to cajole the celebration that he will be a susceptible candidate for the final election. some experts imagine he would get below 40% of the finest votes and if the are precise Hilary receives the nomination.

It's almost 2 years still until the *&%$ elections. I don't think Bush was sworn in for his 2nd term yet when people started talking about who's gonna be running in 2008. Oh, and Hillary hasn't even stated that she's going to run! Maybe she will, but she's got better things to do (like her job as a US Senator) for now. Can't people just wait until at least the SAME YEAR as the elections before chattering about all this nonsense?

This is builidng up to be the most retch-inducing political race in US History.

You may be eating your words within the next two years. I like Obama, but he is inexperienced politically. He may cut his own throat in future debates for one thing. There's almost two years for him to screw up, the playing field in politics is a very rough one. I like both Obama and Clinton and I wouldn't be averse to a Clinton/Obama ticket. But we've seen this type of upcoming adoration before - remember Howard Dean and his fresh outlook? That went right down the tubes because he wasn't politically savvy enough to know when to control his emotions and when to keep his mouth shut. He fit all the attributes you apply to Obama, but it wasn't enough. Like it or not, being politically savvy is always a requirement to actually reach the Oval Office.

Barack Obama is amazing.

His Chicago Bears speech yesterday was hilarious.

He's definitely got my vote over Hillary.

If Hilary runs I'd vote for. Why? It doesn't matter, I do not have to justify my vote. I'd rather vote for Obama, but not for 2008. He is too inexperienced for the position. Maybe after serving at least ONE term as senator, would I reconsider.
