But, yes.
I love rap and I dont love Classic rock, but classic rock is the best music in my opinion.
You cant mess with bands like Led Zeppelin, The Doors, Jimi Hendrix and Pink Floyd.
I mean, you could argue that Tupac and Biggie had a great impact on the rap music scene, but nothing like the rock from the 60s.

Classic Rock was much much better because it had many different sounds and landscapes. You can play 50 classic rock songs in a row and get a different sounding song every time. You can't say that about hip-hop. Though hip-hop is a good creative genre, if you play 50 hip-hop songs in a row, it's gonna sound like 'one long song' instead of 50 different interpretations, IMHO. I think you would be better comparing classic hip-hop to today's hip-pop, as I like to call it. good question :-)

I think rock music in general is better then most CRAP Hip-Hop now and days. It all sounds the same! they all rap about the same thing!. It's freaking ridiculous how u can make money like that man. On the other hand it takes more of a skill to actually MAKE music then oppose to rapping over some beat! that was made in a drum machine. I love rap and hip-hop but now the crap that is on the radio man.

I'd say that by the low and sickly standards most modern hip-hop is at today, yes, though as a whole I think hip-hop is better. Hip-hop has been going steeply downhill over the past decade, with excruciating morons like 50 Cent, Nelly, and Ja Rule.

Any rock music is better than hip-hop. I'd listen to the hardest metal before I subject myself to the noise of rap or hip-hop.

I'd have to say yes, but that's only my opinion. I'm not as fond of hip hop, but I do like some of it. And, it does have it's place in today's society, just like every other genre of music.

classic rock will ALWAYS be better than hip-hop. i like hip-hop and like to dance to it but I LOVE CLASSIC ROCK. i don't get bored of it and never get sick and tired of hearing it over and over.

In my humble opinion it is only about 1000% better. A lot of hip hoppers actually are using some of these great old tunes and doing remakes of them, so that in itself proves their importance etc. Long Live Rock!!!!

Sure! One involves creating music and having to at play instruments, at least on a minimal level, and other just requires a recording engineer and a producer who can turn unbelievable crap into a marketable product!
