If the "other hole" is your a.s.s. then try it only if you feel comfortable experimenting. You do need to be very relaxed but it is not a good idea to be really drunk (especially if you want to remember the experience), however, a little alcohol will go some way to putting you in the mood.
You will be very tight there, a combination of physiology and anxiety so your bf will have to be very careful and take it very slowly, perhaps by massaging the area and slowly and gently inserting a finger until you feel ok with the sensation, then, again very slowly and gently, inserting another finger etc. Once you get used to this, you may be excited enough to take his "tool" up there.
You will need lots and lots of lube from the beginning, make sure it's water-based so that it does not damage the condom(s).
Initially it is likely to hurt but, if your bf cares for and respects you he will ensure that any pain you feel will not be unbearable and the more you relax the less painful it will be. Remember, practice makes perfect!! Enjoy.

I'm assuming he wants to do it to you, not the other way around.
It can hurt, but it can also be very pleasurable too.
Is it recommended? No, of course not. It is the "out" hole after all. I don't think I have heard of any doctor that has approved or condoned that type of activity. Do people do it anyway? Sure.
Should you try it? I think so. I am a firm believer in trying everything at least once. Don't knock it until you try it.
Should you be really drunk? Well, that's really up to you I suppose. I don't know how much of a difference it would make.
The most important thing is to RELAX! If you tense up, it will just hurt way more than it has to. Use lubrication (KY Jelly or Aqua Lube are my favorites), use a condom and just have fun.

Well, if you're willing to try anal sex, it can be quite nice. If you're a girl, it's harder, as we have no prostate (the male "g-spot") to stimulate pleasure. Otherwise, the anus has a lot of nerves that can feel rather good.
I would suggest ONE drink to loosen up (being drunk often means you will get hurt because of carelessness), and lots and lots and lots and LOTS of lubrication. Not to mention patience. If your boy can't hold on, maybe it's best that you leave it alone. Take your time and take it slow.

I think that when you do try it if you do try it, you better have some Vaseline on hand because your going to need it because it is going to be some pain. And most guys like to try the other hole to see what ever one is talking about.

It can hurt, yes. Especially if you just rush into it without taking the time to prepare.
Definitely "loosen" up with a bit of light penetration with fingers - and ABSOLUTELY use lube... If and when any pain subsides, you can start going for the whole salami....
