You just use the rule of three

18 minutes --------------- 30 miles
60 minutes --------------- ?

so

(30 miles * 60 minutes)/18minutes = 100 miles

D = rt
D/t = r
(30mi)/(18min) = (5/3) mi/min = r

D = (5/3) mi/min * 60 min [Keeping the time in minutes]
= 5(20) mi.

[Keep the units in mind]
