My teenage son works but the only money coming into the house paying bills is with me. I give my husband money for gas but for some strange reason; he needs more gas 2 or 3 days later. I am so (expletive word) tired of this. I say no but then he whines about not being able to take our son to work. I can't do it because I'm babysitting and I'll be darned if I want him to watch anybody. I'm thinking about changing things at my bank but how can I get him to be more responsible with his usuage of gas in his car because I can fill up my car and I can make it last weeks. We both have the same kind of cars only his is a year older and mine is a 4 door where his is a convertible?

Just stop giving him money, if he is taking his son back and forth to work, he need to get gas money from him, not you. If he whines tough luck in him.

What you need to do is make him accountable for the money that he is spending. Is your husband using the excess gas to look for work? If not, then he certainly can't joyride while you support the family. Anyway, why isn't he working, is he injured or something?

I have to fill up every 2 or 3 days. What's wrong with that? Your problem is that your husband needs to get a damn job.
