He been very ill and coming home from hospital today.

What do you buy a guy who still very ill and lucky to be alive for xmas?

Hey Arch a good book on his fav subject and peace /quiet wish him well from me and all in Ireland a speedy recovery Merry xmas also cheers

He is a very lucky dad to have such a caring daughter/son?A gift that expresses your love in some way,say it in a very nice card as well and be thank full alls gone well

The same thing you would have bought him had he not had the surgery. He's still here and treat him like that. Last year my brother was dying of cancer and we decided to have our "Family Christmas" the same day as Thanksgiving. My older brother, myself and my younger brothers boys (31-33) went shopping. We decided to get a large amount of shotgun shells and targets because my younger brother loved shooting clay pigeons. As we were walking to the car one of his boys says "I hope we can return these if he dies".

A card that is hand delivered always does the trick. Everyone appreciates the effort.

Forget about presents just give him what he really needs a lot
of your love and understanding until he starts on the road to
recovery then he'll enjoy whatever you buy,
