Like, I've been weight training pretty much every day (set or two a day) for almost two years now, with only a mildly-improved physique to show for it.

How long does it normally take? Cos at this rate it'll be 10 years before I get to where I want? Thanks.

You need to do fewer reps with as much weight as possible maybe 3 or 4 reps.
Then it should take 6 to 9 months the you should start to see the difference.
Also if your only slightly built you can get weight gain drink suppliments.

Every day is too much. You need to allow time for your muscle to rest and grow. You are overtraining and therefore lessening the effect of the exercise. You should do weights 3 days a week and for youre off days go swimming 2 days and run for the other 2.
Also some people, physiologically, have less potential for serious muscle growth than others.
