Actually those are not Halloween pictures, Google is celebrating Edvard Munch Birthday, (who was born on December 12, 1863 in Oslo and died on January 23, 1944) one of finest painter.

Plus the pic which you are seeing is one of his great works "The Scream" 1893. Oil, tempera and pastel on cardboard.

It's not for Halloween. It's the birthday of artist Edvard Munch and that's his famous painting, The Scream.

they are celebrating the birthday of the artist of the painting "the scream" Edvard Munch. it says so when you roll over the graphic.

It doesn't show a Halloween picture on mine. I would recommend you erase your Cookies and Temporary Files. It might be pulling up those images from your computer.
