no.1 the endoplasmic reticulum only deals with cellular transport and so it does not control the whole process.
no.2 golgi apparatus also deals with processing and packaging of proteins and cellular secretions, so it's not a mastermind!
no.3, the mitochondria is just a power house of the cell.

And, by logic, it's four!
by biology, the DNA controls proteins synthesis, enzyme prodcution and it also controls gene expression, and it controls cell division!
so, by biology, it sure is DNA that controls the cell and its activity.

yes i also think (4)the DNA is the correct answer as the others merely aid the functioning of the cell. DNA contains genes which are a sequence of bases coding for specific proteins. Genes contained on the DNA determine the functioning (specificity) of the cell.
