Depends what kind of shift you work. The hourly pay is about $2.63/hour. On a weeknight working from 5-11, you could walk out with $150-$200 in tips equally about $30/hour. Working on a weekend, you would obviously make more.

15-25 per hour at a busy time, they do work for tips mostly so the amount would depend on how they treated the customers

You're much better off getting a job as a waiter at a "fine dining" establishment. You will make much, much more and deal with much less crap. No whiny kids, not as many cheap people who think Applebee's in gourmet eating, it's just better. I wouldn't be caught dead working at a chain restaurant.

I don't know ask a waiter that works at Chili's. No really it all depends how out going you are and how much the customer likes you.
