Close....Umaga is Jamal, Rosie's former tag team partner in "3 Minute Warning" in WWE and "The Samoan Gangstas" in OVW (Ekmo and Kimo). He is related to Headshriker Fatu (aka Rikishi), Yokozuna, and The Rock.
The WWE brought him back and repackaged him as Umaga after they were unsuccessful in signing Samoa Joe last year when his contract with TNA had expired. This is very similar to the situation in the 1980 where the WWF created the tag team "The Powers Of Pain" after they failed to lure the Road Warriors away from the NWA. After the WWF was successful in signing the Road Warriors (Legion Of Doom), they buried the Powers Of Pain and broke up the team, since they didn't need the knock off anymore.
I expect the same will be true if the WWE were to ever lure Samoa Joe away from TNA when his current contract expires.

Umaga is Rosey cousin. And yes he was the other guy from 3 min warning. Rosey is currently in Japan (or so I read).

No, rosey took some time out from wrestling after blacking out a little bit past the last show he perticipated in(Rosey VS Gregory helms)
The guy that plays umaga's real name is Eddie Fatu. Wich i'm not sure if he's related to Rikishi Fatu or not.

No Umaga is not Rosey.
Rosey no longer works for WWE.
Umaga is the other half of three Minute Warning.
He used to go by Jamal.
