Don't you all just love the crazed people who sit here and all they do is try to run our name down just because we're American? I mean my gosh if they're so against us why don't they just join their military or government or something and actually do something instead of sitting on their butt all day typing infront of a computer? I know it's childish and even more childish for me to sit here and name them out when I should just ignore it. But it just blows my mind how people think they can make a difference in the world over YahooAnswers.

Everyone has the right to like/dislike whatever they want. That is TOTALLY fine. But why do people feel the need to insult others? Specially over the internet! haha. I specially love the people who love to dish it out but can never take it in.
GOD BLESS THE USA!

marklemoo....like I said...what they do is childish and I'm probably being even more childish. But hey I'm supporting my country and not over the internet my hubby is a Marine and I support him and every other military service man and I think it's silly that my husband has been to Iraq trying to defend other countries as well as our own and yet there are people who can't appreciate what America does.

Lol. I do agree we all have our idiots. And I do agree America isn't perfect.

The Infamous. The government isn't what makes our people...it's the people itself. I don't agree with the war....but I support our troops because all they're doing is following rules and nothing more. Anyway that's another topic. I'm just saying...I think people who sit here and insult others and call others names just because they're different need to get a life and grow up. If they have an argument then make it...but leave the childish name calling out of it.

Angel...get a life...I am being the bigger person. You'll see how (that is if you do have the "brain power" as you say it).

Donna don't flatter yourself. I would have loved to read your answer but quite honestly I don't want to deal with you so I didn't even read after the first paragraph. Have a nice life..I really mean that.

Communication brings out the human in us. It opens doors, please do not be hasty to close them off. We may not always be happy with what is said but it is important to keep an open forum so we can also realize our humanity.

Didn't quite get the response you wanted did it this. A few of your fellow Americans disagreeing with you, oops.

Are you also the sort of idiot that compains about T.v shows they don't like instead of just switching them off.??

You lot go on about freedom of speech but basically you're trying to take it away from anyone who isn't American.
I'm a Brit and you should see some of the stupid, ignorant and rude replies i've had from Americans ,do you come defend me, i think not.

If you don't like it love, leave it alone, why does it bother you so much, stop lowering yourself, you look like a fool.

Maybe try and be the bigger person if thats possible.

I have a life sweets thats why you're getting the rep as a stalker, because you don't. Grow up and accept people have different views to yours and posting Qs like this is not being the bigger person, its being a tw@t.

No offense to your husband or the other Marines over there, but America is in Iraq to TAKE OVER IRAQ'S OIL FIELDS FOR THE BENEFIT OF AMERICAN OIL COMPANIES.

And that's why other people hate us!

When America does stuff in other countries, it's basically intended to help American corporations dominate and economically exploit those countries

Why do you think America has such a large armed forces - and why are those troops deployed all over the world?

Now, you'll probably get angry with me for writing this, but facts are facts!

And yes, I'm an American... and I worked at Ground Zero after the terrorist attacks, so don't you dare say I'm not patriotic!

I'm sure a part of you realizes that you are doing what they are doing, using Yahoo! Answers to display your discontent.

Edit: I'm not trying to put you down, I'm just trying to show you that you are being somewhat contradictory in your statements while I'm answering your question. If you don't believe people writing things on Yahoo! Answers can change anything the world over, then 1) what do you think your question will accomplish, and 2) why do you care how people respond to your question? Either doing something here makes a difference or not, it can't be both, so you have to choose which one you believe it is and stick with that. The other thing is that people do most of the complaining about America out of discontent. I'm not saying that they have anything to be discontented about, just that they feel that way and typing it up here is a form of releasing it. You asked why they were doing it and I'm trying to give you what seems to me to be the most likely answer.

I'm obviously the inspiration behind this, so let me tell you a few things.

Before I started using this site, I quite liked Americans. I thought some of you were pretty crazy, but the rest generally cool. Just like us.

But, in reality, nearly all of you appear to be humourless and arrogant. You cannot take a joke - or even spot a joke - and have the complete and total nerve to tell us how to spell our own language.

Virtually every single criticism that's made against the USA is invariably answered with "We saved your skins in WW2" - like that's got anything much to do with anything.

The other night, my friend and I were getting so incredibly fed up with people getting suspended from this site for no good reason, that we decided to go down in a blaze of glory. We asked the most inane and offensive questions imaginable - some of them, you are quite right, were gross.

All the English people could see perfectly well what we were doing - but, on no, not you Yanks. Did you not have a quick look at my questions previous to those, huh? I'm on Level 6 - do you think I I got there by expressing my appreciation of bestiality. Of course not.

You didn't have the faintest idea what was going on, but still waded in thinking that you knew best, as usual.

You have posted your question on UK & Ireland. Why, oh why, can't you please use your own site. And don't feed me some crap about "it's American". This is actually the UK version.

I thought it was quite pathetic of you to come looking for my profile today to find an open question you could "answer".

Laurel, by all means "name and shame" me - I couldn't give a flying f*art love. I have enough friends and supporters on this site that you'll look like a tw*at quite quickly.

Don't bother me again, hmmm? I'm really not that interested.

It reminds me of a playground taunt. Someone says something bad about a child's mommy and the child yells "IS NOT! My mommy is perfect and does everything the best!"

Grownup love is more like "Yes, I see the faults and the good qualities of this person. I think we should work on the faults and work to keep those good qualities."

Love of country is like that. To say the USA is perfect and that nobody should dare say a thing against it, is just...silly and immature. As a superpower we're bound to make a lot of mistakes. Rather than respond by sticking our fingers in our ears and saying "La la la, move back to China then if you don't like us!" The better thing to do would be to listen and respond.

Good question... And also..if they hate us so much why do they keep coming here. We can't get rid of em'. They come over in trucks, boats, planes, boxes, tankers, trunks. All willing to risk life and limb getting here. Then all they do is complain. Then we give them either a home and free money and food, and an education or we send em' back first class. We don't even do that for our own homeless.
