Six months ago, they were the rage. There were hundreds of women wearing them if you walked down the street of NY. Now, you hardly see a woman wearing one.

Has this happened? Why or why not?

I haven't seen them as much as I did, so Imagine now that we all have them, just like all fashion, they are on the way out. It seems like once they sell you the "new" fashion and everybody gets it, it's time for a change to another "new" fashion. Keeps the designers and retailer's in business. The good thing is, if you hold on to what you have for a while it will come back.

Meh.

I think they were more hyped up in certain places than actually being a big popular trend.

It is possible these people realized they looked frumpy and moved to something more sleek and classical which seems to be the fashion now.

Red, Black, White, Polka dots, Navy, Nautical...anything with clean lines.

No they're not really "in" right now...but who knows. Maybe once spring rolls around again they'll come back. I'm saving mine just in case
