My friend has a dog named Dioggey pronounced like Dee-O-Gee. or in other words like you are saying the letters D-O-G slurred together. Her cat of course is Ciatey, pronounced like the letters(duh) C-A-T slurred together too. I thought that was a cute idea.

I had a friend who's bird was named Commander Buttons, she had a dogs, one named D.O.G. (Duke Of Glory) and the other was originally named Tad (Trained Attack Dog) until the dad got fed up with having a dog named so close to dad, and then they switched it to Taz.

My Rabbit's name was Indiana Josephine because she would take flying leaps out of my arms, off furniture, whatever. We called her Indy.

And then a friend of mine had one ferret named Miamoto Musashi (sp?)...and then inherited another one named Pookie (quite the name combo there)

My friend had a cat which liked to jump off of things, the refrigerator, stairs, even the balcony on the second floor so that it could get outside (after the cat did this a couple of times, she wasn't allowed out on the balcony again). She named the cat Sappho after the Greek poet who killed herself by jumping off of a cliff. Seemed appropriate.
