It only happens a dozen or so times a year so most men can live through it provided they don't mind walking on eggshells...I think (no offence intended) sometimes it's just used as an excuse for an argument (rather than say drunkenness or neurosis) so men don't tend to take it very seriously...and then there are those girls who have it five or six times a month which is either excessive ovulation or attention seeking, take your pick. I don't think anyone 'dreads' the words, though. It's only a natural process. Like volcanoes, death or pestilence.

PMT doesn't scare me, at the end of the day if someones having a go at me for their own bad mood, no matter how its caused, it obviously ain't my fault and I can usually get them to see sense. Although pregnant women are a whole different kettle of hormones
