Strengths - of what? Of politics?

For a teacher to succeed?
I will assume you mean this latter. So here goes:
A good teacher/ . . .
a) has studied her material well and in depth
b) has studied the art form of pedagogy and child psych
c) has made efforts to assess the class level in the subject about to be taught
d) has listened to the superiors of the establishment for goals of the teaching
e) Has set goals for at least a term and a year
f) has made plans in detail concerning the content of all classes
g) will always be prompt
h) will aways be honest and fair
i) will maintain discipline in the classroom so that the learning process can continue daily
j) will contact the higher-ups if out of her depth with a problem

And maybe some more that do not come to mind at this time. other people can take up the slack.
