my periods are 8 days late.ive had brown spotting for the last 4 days,just a spot on my pants but this morn i had a darker discharge wen i wiped after the toilet so i thot mayb my period was starting but ive had nothing since again.2 nights ago i had a pinky coloured discharge after sex but thats all.ive bn trying for a baby for 9 mths now but i did a test yday and it was neg?

You very well may be pregnant. Do a self analysis and see if you are experiencing any other symptoms (morning sickness, sore breasts, cramping or frequent urination). Also, make sure you are accurate in your timing as far as your cycle goes. If you are on track with your cycle days and you are feeling anything mentioned above, try re-testing in a few more days and going to the doctor for a serum pregnancy test. Going through the same myself im 14 days late. It could be possible you are pregnant, i had some spotting Saturday and Monday, i am also trying to conceive. This could be implantation bleeding and they say take a test 4 days after you think implantation happened. But its best to go to the doctors maybe get a blood test, thats what i will be doing this weekend. Im having all symptoms, breast soreness, some nausea.

Some women take 2 weeks or more of a late period to test positive on an hpt.
Have you called your doctor? Do you suspect you are pregnant?
Any other symptoms such as frequent urination, sore breasts or fatigue? Those are all very common early symptoms.

It could be various things, from just inplantation bleeding, to just having a light period. Do another test in 2 weeks (or how ever long you can stand to wait) either that or go to the docs and get them to do a test.
Have you been stressing lately, because that has effects on periods alot.

you could be pregnant it might be implantation bleeding.go see your doctor tho they might have some better answers for you, i really don't know what else to tell you.
