FOOTBALL?
WHAT MAKES U FEEL INDIA IS ANY BETTER IN FOOTBALL?

I do not think that Cricket should be banned in India. Since India is a democratic country law does not permit banning any game even if somebody want to do it. Further, since cricket is most populr in India and as it is money minting game, nobody will ever think of banning Cricket in India.

If you are talking about american football!! India wont be able to afford that kind of sport which requires really expensive stuff...

If you talking about soccer, then sure why not! I like and watch cricket, but if you see as an outsider, it is a dull game, I mean you play for one full day...or even for 5 days.......for India and Pakistan its ok though as people have lots of time and have nothing to do anyway !

Hockey should be given better sponsorship, as it is a shorter game.....and some other supports should be given share too...I always wonder ONLY ONE REAL SPORT..no no no...we need Pepsi or CocaCola and other big companies to sponsor other games too.... Sania Mirza proved that there could be some tennise too...but I would say they need to give good players chance... As I've seen players quit just because they have to feed their families and they have no money coming from sport they play!!

I hardly think that people will come out of this ONE sport situation...but media can help big time...

Lets cross our fingures for some quality sports from India and Pakistan....

any game will have a winner and a looser we too had great moments - think over we won the world cup in 1983 subsequently played really a good game for quite some time - it is a testing time thinking in terms of banning a particular game is not an healthy idea- not sportsmanship we can overcome this impasse. it happens to every one . But at the same we can encourage our people to play football seriouslly duly taking proper care to develop the sports.
