Love is a basic dimension of human experience that is variously conveyed as a sense of tender affection, an intense attraction, the foundation of intimacy and good interpersonal chemistry, willing self-sacrifice on behalf of another, and as an ineffable sense of affinity or connection to nature, other living beings, or even that which is unseen. It manifests itself in feelings, emotion, behavior, thoughts, perception and attitude. It influences, underlies and defines major patterns in interpersonal relationships and self-identification.
The diverse range of meanings associated with the English word contrasts with the plurality of Greek words for love, reflecting the depth, versatility, and complexity of the concept. This diversity of meanings is reflected in the many distinct classifications of love including romantic love; sexual desire; platonic love; religious love; familial love; true love; and the more casual application of the term to anything pleasurable, enjoyable, desirable, or preferred, including activities and favorite foods..

It is so hard to define love because it is an abstract object. Additionally, it depends on your emotion, sentiment on your opposite. In my humble idea, if you like to read my poem Word Love, you give me your email address so that we share its definition together. To read this poem, you had better have a Vietnamese software. However, I translated it into the American prose. I would like to have friends based on the open-minded spirit to exchange. Comprehension eridicates all bounderies! I have composed over 100 poems: Romantic, Contemplative, and Humorous (Romantic and Comtemplative: translated all; Humorous: some).

Love is sharing joy and happiness around the world, it is not only physical but also spiritual. By giving urself u display love, care for others, having compassion for the weak and helping the poor is best way to display ur love.
LOve is a beautiful emotion which is gained only by giving , it doubles, and triples everytime u share ur love.... mind u i am speaking in spiritual term...

Love is an intense reciprocal feeling of bonding & desire for companionship between people based on various attraction factors; that often tends to be the dominant feeling (over all other feelings) in a human being while it lasts.

Love is an ethereal flow of sacrifice from mother that can transform into joy and metamorphose into pain and degenerate into faith and disguise as envy, lust, malice, pride and jealousy and at once vapourise into spiritual essence wherever there is space and then condense into her womb again for another ethereal journey!

well.. love can be anything fulfilling, soulful, and full of life. everything u feel, think, and hope for, can all be summarized into 1 word...love. if a straight definition is what u want then love is what u live for, without it u have no purpose or fondness....no life.
