Are you saying that someone making $200k a year is not wealthy? If they're not then I'd like to know what they're doing with their money.
In answer to your question, anything that's put to a vote has more control by people who are NOT wealthy (since the majority aren't)--as long as everyone gets out to vote. Otherwise, I do see your point that the wealthy are making bigger decisions that affect all of us. I don't know what the solution to that is but I'm curious to see people views on it.

no it started with hard working farmers who were trying to start a country and through the years the wealthy were given control
