The 1990's was a great 10yrs for me till the new millenium came into play then I had a very shitty time....BUT in '94 my real father died on us when I was 9 so that really suckedass and when I was 14-19 I got sexually molested twice once when I was 14 and the second was when I was 19 and i'm alost 22 now...So the new Millenium sucked very much for me.

On what basis? You can see from the other answers that on a case-by-case basis some individuals had bad experiences in the 00's (i.e. molested girl). Speaking of which, how do you get molested at 19-years-old? Aren't you a legal adult at that point?

Anyways, the problems of today (terrorism, globalization, pace of technology, ect.) are simply different from the problems of the 90's (Soviet Union, economic recession).
