Linksys makes great routers and they can be bought almost anywhere. Make sure you know what your needs are before buying though.

The best wireless router is the one that gives you the range, security and features you need. Brand only matters to a salesman. Figure out exactly what you need (and what you may want to do later) and find a router that can handle it. The amount of money you spend should not be based on name alone.

The Linksys WRT54GL Wireless Router recieved the highest rating on epinions.com (5 stars) when compared to comparable products.
It's listed as costing only $65.00, and supports 802.11b and 802.11g. I own a linksys and I am more than satisfied with its performance. The link above leads to a summary of the product.
This url: http://froogle.google.com/froogle?q=WRT54GL&btnG=Search+Froogle
leads to a Froogle search, so you can find the best price, and the link show in "source" is a link to the comparison I mentioned.
I hope this helps!

I have been using LinkSys for many years without any problems. I also like the fact that they have a separate "speed-booster" box for people with a large or multi-story house. Setup is fairly easy and the tech support isn't bad.

Get it from the people that you get your internet from, that way if something goes wrong they come and change it. You only have to pay once.
