and I have seen plenty of people who onlylook average I thik when youre mixed but dont look like it thats much better example BORiS KODJOE. and mixed ppl dont get offended.

There are pretty mixed people and ugly mixed people the same for unmixed people. I didn't know that Fergie was mixed, I thought she was just White? But yea she isn't the prettiest but there are pretty mixed people like Cassie, Amerie, Shemar Moore, Terrence Howard etc...I think that most people assume that all mixed children are going to be pretty because they will get the best from both races which doesn't always happen. My friend is half Black and Chinese and she is a wonderful person but she isn't the most attractive.

OK darling, let me point out the other side of the coin here, there are beautiful and ugly people everywhere, mixed or not. Think about it... not only is beauty a matter of perspective but there are some extremal ugly people that are of a single nationality and if we expound on that thought the effort to keep blood pure has resulted in some pretty nasty things, historically there are several examples but on the extreme end you end up with inbreeding and that can get UGLY! OK so you don't like the look of Fergie (me either but it has nothing to do with her heritage, I used to think she was OK but the recent song about how sexy she thinks she is killed that) Tiger Woods is also of mixed heritage and I think that one worked out well. I would think about it a little more before making such a generalization or people might (and with out too much of a stretch) equate your train of thought to those of the Nazi's. - and by the way in my opinion all CHILDREN are beautiful and full of the potential to be anything.
By the way I am a blond haired blue eyed 5'9 white girl and I had a son with a dark haired man, my son is beautiful and I don't see that as any different than mixing race. open your eyes and maybe consider where you may have come from.

Well, personally, I can't go anywhere without people telling me how beautiful my daugther is (she's vietnamese/caucasian and black) so, in my case, it's true. This picture doesn't do her justice. Her eyes beautiful almond shaped and she has the prettiest pouty full lips and her smile is breathtaking. There's a bunch of mixed people that are absolutely gorgeous such as Halle Berry, Paula Patton from Idlewild, Tamia, Cassie, Amerie, I could go on and on.
I do admit though, Fergie looks wierd. I can't call it. It's like her face is fat and her body is skinny. But, who am I talkin about. I always got teased for having a big head when I was younger so I have no room to talk about anybody..lol!

I think we are experiencing a backlash from when blonde and white was considered more attractive - now anything exotic looking is considered attractive. I should know - anytime I go out with friends who are mixed (Filipino and white, Cuban and white) or just exotic looking (Indian) guys do NOT see me. They look right past me to my more exotic looking friends. And I'm pretty good looking, ha ha.
In my opinion there are just as many attractive mixed people, as there are attractive white people, and black people, and Asian people etc.

Because I look at my children everyday and they really are beautiful. In fact I have a son that is a model. My children and grandchildren are mixed to the point that people can't identify what race(s) they are. Yet strangers always comment on their beauty.

Every child of any color is beautiful in their own way....and Im mixed and I was a cute child and Im still cute. I didnt know that Fergie was mixed.

What if they come out looking African. Being with a Mexican girl doesn't mean they will look Mexican. They could come out looking like Africans. Look at Kobe Bryant for example. He married a Mexican girl and both is daughters look African American. Look at Kid Cudi and Miguel and Miguel both their fathers are Mexican and mothers are African American and they came out looking like African Americans. The chances of them coming out looking Mexican is slim and this is why you need to marry someone for love and can't base it on how your kids will look because they may not come out on how you want them to look.

it has ben my experience, being a "mixed" individual, that you are either attractive or not. I have yet to see a true middle ground.
