A fine point here. Radical Islam is at war with all western civilization. We are reacting to their aggression. Not reacting strongly enough in my opinion, but nonetheless, we are reacting. Without regard to when it started, we are neck deep in crocodiles at the moment and our choices in this will have effects that reach into the next millennium.
No, we are not at war with Islam, just the lunatic radical arm of Islam.

No, Hard line Isalmic extremists are at war with the US Government. They declared war on the government long before 9/11 ever happened.

this is not any longer about Christians and Islam. this is about a effective usa adverse to terrorism. A terrorist is a terrorist, would not remember if he's a Christian, a Muslim, a Hindu or the different... he's a danger adverse to one usa and all... US has components and potential, this is utilizing it to wipe out the terrorists.
