In structure, a corps is usually three divisions or more, just as a just as a division is made up of 3 battalions or more, and a battalion is made up of 3 companies or more, as a company is made up of 3 platoons or more as a platoon is made up of 3 squads or more. Moving forward, an army is made of 3 corps or more also.
An armored division would contain not only armored vehicles but also artillery, signals and infantry components. The armored portion would be used to capture the land, but the boots on the ground is necessary to hold the objective.

Bear in mind that a Corps refers to a headquarters element. In otherwards a Panzer Corps might contain maybe one Panzer division and the rest infantry. So on paper it was "Panzer." This is true for the period 1944-45.
